Student Council
The CHS Student Council is a student-level governing body, a working example of the democratic process, operating in close cooperation with school administration and staff in the guidance and control of student government and activities. Membership consists of five officers elected during March of each year by the student body.

Cheerleading
The purpose of Cheerleading is to promote school spirit and morale among all athletes, students and faculty, and to promote good will between the school and the community.

National Honor Society
Membership in the National Honor Society is open to CHS sophomores, juniors, and seniors. A faculty council meets to consider the selection of students for this prestigious organization. Basic criteria for selection is:
- Students must have been enrolled for at least one semester at CHS before they can be considered for selection.
- Students must have and maintain, at the minimum a 3.3 GPA cumulative from the 9th grade with no grade lower than a “C”.
- The Faculty Council will consider students for selection based on four criteria: (a) GPA, (b) Leadership, (c) Service, (d) Character.

Dine Club
The Indian Club has been formed for the purpose of promoting Native American cultural and social activities. Membership in this club is open to students of all ethnic backgrounds.

Science Club
The Science Club at CHS is an organization which provides an opportunity for the student to develop leadership skills and to participate in enriched science activities beyond the standard curriculum. The Science Club plans and organizes the local science fair each year.
Spanish Club
The CHS Spanish club is designed for students enrolled in either Spanish I or Spanish II. The purpose of the club is to enhance and/or acquaint the sudent with the Spanish language and culture. It also allows and encourages student to do research and conduct interviews with people from this area. Membership in this club is open to students of all ethnic backgrounds.
Yearbook
The purpose of having Yearbook is to put out a memory book for the current school year. The yearbook is full of pictures of students, faculty and chool activities. The books become invaluable as the years go by, the happy memories of school days captured in the yearbook are cherished more and more with each passing year after students leave CHS. The Yearbook Staff has the opportunity of getting good practical experience in photography, layouts, and sales.
