Message from the Superintendent

September 25, 2020

Community, Students, Colleagues of Cuba ISD after much data gathering, extensive input, medical support of the welfare of our children and families. Cuba ISD will remain in "remote" learning "red" until January 4th, 2021. We will be working with schools, educators and families to bring in student groups aligned with NMPED guidelines to support students who are struggling. We will only bring in students with parent/guardian permission.

We will re assess the situation monthly and keep our decision to move to hybrid in January of 2021 unless things in our community change. Thank you for working hand in hand with us.

Community & Students:

Please know that the school district is working on plans for all students with specific plans and help for the senior class of 2021.  We will be rolling out an additional curriculum that will support student needs and avenues to work towards credit recovery with classes that are not tied to online learning.  We are here to support and take care of  the class of 2021.
